What is the rental fee for Grace Wedding & Event Venues and what does it include?

What is the building capacity?

Statesville: 300 guests including the bridal party

Gastonia: 150 guests including the bridal party

When are the payments due?

50% of the space rental is due at time of signing the contract.

Do you offer a payment plan?

You are more than welcome to make payments throughout the year via our QuickBooks ACH payment link or mail a check to POBOX 791, Cornelius, NC 28031.

Please include the last names of the couple and the wedding date in the memo line if you are mailing a check.

Full payment is due 2 weeks prior after revising the invoice with your final numbers.

We also reserve the right to request a credit card on file for any damages to the venue.

How do I reserve a date?

To reserve a date email us at graceweddingevents@gmail.com saying you are ready to book a specific date if it is still available.
Please also include a backup date in case your preferred date is unavailable.

Prior to booking a date, we hope you are able to come out in person to Grace. You can request a tour (or a Facetime tour if you live out of the area) on our tour request page,

Dates are reserved on a first requested basis. Whomever has requested to start the contract process from us by email first for a specific date will be first in line.

 Do I need to schedule a tour or can I just stop by?

We kindly request that all tours are by appointment only. You can request a tour here.

 What is the average budget of a couple getting married at Grace?

In general, the average budget of a couple getting married at either of our Grace locations are between $10,000-$15,000 for venue and catering. We have had some creative couples with smaller guests lists host beautiful weddings in the $7,000 - $10,000 range. We have also had several over the top events here where couple spending significantly more than the average.

Is there a food and beverage, or guest count minimum?

We have no food and beverage minimum.

Do we have to utilize your caterers and bar service?

 Yes. When we started our venues, we realized that a good catering company is necessary at a classy venue, so we started a catering company to ensure that our clients are well taken care. We also have a liquor license, so unfortunately we don’t not allow any outside food or alcohol. You are more than welcome to bring in your own Cake from an outside vendor.

Will there be another wedding the same day?

We only host one wedding a day to ensure that each couple's event is special and receives our full attention.

Are there overnight accommodations nearby?

Yes. There are several to choose from.

Statesville : The Hilton, The Hampton Inn,
Courtyard by Marriott, The Inn on Front Street

Gastonia: Esquire Hotel, The Hilton

How many cars will your parking lot accommodate?

Statesville: We have several parking lots around our venue with complimentary parking

Gastonia: We are located next to a parking deck that has complimentary public parking.

Do you offer straight tables instead of round? 

We have a limited number of straight tables onsite that can be used for your gift table, head table, etc. Usually we have a few extras that can be mixed in with reception seating, but the majority of your guests will be seated at round tables. You are more than welcome to rent straight tables if you are going for a specific look.

 Do you provided table linens? 

We do provide table linens and linen napkins for up to 150 guests. Straight table linens will be additional.

We plan to have our ceremony offsite, or only plan to have our ceremony at Grace.  Does your fee change?

We only host one wedding/event per day at our venues, so unfortunately the price does not change.

Do you allow dogs onsite to play a part in our wedding day?

If you would like your sweet dog to be a part of the ceremony, you are more than welcome, but unfortunately they are not able to stay during the reception, because we do not want them to feel trapped in an unfamiliar area.

What form of payment does Grace accept?

Cash, check, ACH payments and credit card( with a 3% convenience fee for credit cards only)

Where can I find pictures of the decorations available in the venue rental at Grace?

We are in the process of updating our decoration inventory  page, but you can see some pictures here.

What time will I have access to the venue to decorate?

You will have access to the venue for a total of 12 hours on the day of your wedding/event.

 Do you include a "wedding day coordinator?”

Unfortunately we do not include a “wedding day coordinator” but you can book one of our coordinators for an additional fee. We do have however have a team leader that can assist you with any questions that you might have throughout the day, if you choose not to secure a Grace coordinator. You are also more than welcome to bring in an outside Coordinator.

What are our catering options at Grace?

How much should we expect to spend on catering?

I would plan on spending anywhere from $25- $55 ( estimate includes taxes, staff and fees) for catering.

Does Grace handle the catering orders or do I work with the caterer directly?

You will work with your Grace representative and he/she will set up everything to do with catering, including tastings and estimates.

What time do you suggest we start the ceremony?

We suggest starting Friday weddings between 5:00pm-6:00pm, Saturday weddings between 3:00pm-5:00 pm, and Sunday weddings between 3:00pm or 4:00 pm. These are just suggestions. You are more than welcome to have another starting time.

How will the tables, chairs, etc. be arranged for my sized event? 

We will work on your layout depending on your final numbers of guests.

 Will we be able to access the location the day before to rehearse our ceremony? 

Our venue will likely be reserved by another couple the night before. For that reason, you should plan for an offsite rehearsal. If you would like to do a rehearsal at Grace during the week, we charge $500 for a 2 hour time slot during the week.

 Can we have sparklers at the venues?

Yes, they make stunning pictures!

Can vehicles be left overnight?

Absolutely, especially if it’s for safety reasons, but we are not responsible for it if any damages occur to the vehicle

What time does the music need to end?

Music on Friday's & Saturday's must conclude by 10:30p.m. to ensure that you, all of your items, and all of your vendors are off-property by midnight. Music on Sunday's must conclude by 10:000p.m.

 We are using a rental company.  Can they drop items off or pick them up outside of the rental period? 

Yes, as long as it’s not during the timeframe of another couple that rented the venue. 

Are candles allowed?

Yes, candles are allowed as long as the flame is completely contained in a candle holder. Tapered candles and any type of hanging candles will not be allowed for safety reasons.

Is it possible to seat 9 to a table?

It would be a little tight, but it’s completely possible.

 How far in advance do you need our final headcount?

Two weeks prior please.

Are outside snacks and trays permitted?

Outside food and drink is permitted prior to the ceremony. It is not allowed after the start of the event.

 What is the event clean-up process?

Grace staff will handle all standard clean up and trash removal throughout the evening and following the wedding reception.

Can we nail decorations to the walls or hang things like streamers or lanterns from the beams?

Unfortunately we ask that you do not allow anything to be hung or stuck onto the walls please.
